Thank you for looking at our shepherds hut; we really want you to have a nice and relaxing holiday so please just ask if there you have any queries or if there is anything we can help you with.
Terms and Conditions:
As part of the new COVD guidance and our site agreement we ask that you supply us with your full name and address.
Please be assured that we will not pass this information onto any 3rd parties unless the authorities ask us for it. We take data protection seriously.
LINEN/TOWELS: You may bring your own linen however if you chose to use our please can you strip your bed and place linen and towels in the bag provided? This is to minimize risk during the COVID 19 Pandemic and would be very much appreciated.
A 50% Deposit is required upon Booking and this will be fully refunded if Government restrictions are put in place.
Whilst we try and accommodate any last minute changes to our bookings this may not always be possible. We appreciate that life happens sometimes and things are unavoidable however we will be unable to exchange dates within a weeks notice.
We would appreciate your help keeping the hut clean and safe by following these instructions:
There is a fire blanket in the shepherds hut…please familiarise yourself with how to use it (which we hope wont be needed).
In the case of fire please vacate the hut immediately and ring 999
NO SMOKING in or near the hut.
HOB: Please ensure the electric rings are cold before shutting the lid
SURFACES: Please use the cork mats provided to avoid staining/marking the oak surfaces. The table pulls from the middle of the bed above the doors.
BINS: The main bins are behind the hut and we would appreciate it if you would recycle what you are able by placing items in the appropriate bin.
SANITARY WEAR/WIPES: Please DO NOT flush anything other than toilet tissue down the loo. We are on a septic tank system.
MUDDY BOOTS: Please leave muddy shoes/wellies/boots into the box outside the hut…. there are some disposable slippers for your convenience to use inside the hut if needed.
STEPS: Please take care entering and leaving the hut especially when they are wet. Also please take great care climbing in and out of the bed or when using the stool provided.
LOG BURNER: Please do not use firewood from the hedge backs etc. There are some logs/firebricks in the boot box outside the hut.
FARM AMIMALS: Please do not feed them or go into the fields. Please close all gates behind you.
Whilst we will aim to make your stay a safe one we are not responsible for any accidents that have been caused by negligence of the visitor or failure to adhere to the safety advice we have laid out. We are not liable for any damage/theft of goods of client’s property/vehicles and suggest that you take any valuables with you and ensure that you have your own holiday insurance.
We appreciate that accidental damage happens so please let us know as soon as possible if there is a problem. If the damage is major we will ask you for the cost of repair/replacement. We do have public liability insurance and gas/electric/site certificates – please ask if you wish to see them.
